Theme Customization
OpenHRApp offers extensive visual customization so you can make the app look and feel just right for your preference. This is a sub-guide of Managing Your Profile and Settings.
Choosing a Color Theme
Navigate to Settings from the sidebar. In the Theme section, you'll see a grid of 14 available color themes.
Each theme changes the primary accent color used across the entire application — buttons, links, badges, sidebar highlights, and more.
Simply click on a theme to apply it instantly. Your selection is saved to your profile and persists across devices and sessions.
Switching Between Light Mode, Dark Mode, and System Preference
Use the mode toggle to switch between:
- Light Mode — Bright background with dark text. Best for well-lit environments.
- Dark Mode — Dark background with light text. Reduces eye strain in low-light conditions and saves battery on OLED screens.
- System — Automatically follows your device's system preference.
Organization Default Theme (Super Admin)
Super Admins can set a default theme for the entire organization. When a new user logs in for the first time, they'll see the organization's default theme. Users can then customize their own preference from their Settings page.
