Performance Reviews — HR Calibration
HR has the final say in OpenHRApp's performance review process. After managers submit their reviews, HR calibrates the results and completes the cycle.
Accessing Reviews for HR Calibration
Navigate to Performance from the sidebar. In the HR Calibration section, you'll see reviews with status MANAGER_REVIEWED that are waiting for your input.
How to Calibrate a Performance Review
Open a review to see:
- Employee's Self-Assessment — Their self-ratings and comments.
- Manager's Review — The manager's ratings and feedback.
- Attendance & Leave Summary — Objective data about the employee's presence and leave usage.
Completing and Finalizing the Review
- Review both self-assessment and manager ratings side by side.
- Add HR Final Remarks — Your overall assessment and any calibration notes.
- Assign an Overall Rating — The final performance rating for this employee.
- Click "Complete Review" to finalize.
The review status changes to COMPLETED, and both the employee and manager are notified.
Managing Review Cycles (Admin/HR)
Admins can manage review cycles from the Performance page:
- Create Cycle — Set up a new review cycle with name, type (Quarterly, Mid-Year, Annual), start/end dates, and review window dates.
- Configure Competencies — Choose which competencies to include in the cycle.
- Activate/Deactivate — Control when the cycle is open for employee submissions.
- View Progress — Track how many employees have completed each stage.
